Reinforced concrete pillars and beams are the fundamental components in the structural frames of normal office and store buildings. With Betset's products the project can be designed to fullfill the needs for the building, for example effective use and modification of free area, now and in future. One product to reach this goal is heavy duty prestressed beams produced by Betset. 

Prestressed concrete beams are often used in different buildings, with span from 10 to 40 m. Betset produces several types of "I"- and "HI"-beams, ledger and cross beams.  Especially the use of low ledger beams (height of the ledger 10 cm) has increased in attempt to make structures lower and facilitate the laying of piping on lower surfaces of slab systems. Long span and heavy duty prestressed beams are also perfect solution to build a bridge- or a parking house.
